Duties:
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manage reservations and waitlists using systems such as OpenTable.
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest flow.
- Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations.
- Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times.
Social Media & Content:
- Capture photos and videos of food, drinks, and restaurant atmosphere.
- Help showcase daily specials, events, and promotions.
Experience:
- Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
- Strong background in food service and customer service roles, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with Systems Open Table.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, including serving procedures and guest engagement techniques.
- Excellent phone etiquette skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse guests.
- Comfortable with camera and filming.
- Good eye for aesthetics (lighting, angles, presentation).
